One more day and a wake up. As our anticipation grows, so does our curiosity to see what God has in store for us in Lisbon. The message that I heard from the pulpit this weekend taught me; that God see's beyond what we are, to what we might be. He wants us to begin today with exactly what we have been given. We need to shed anything in our lives that might hold us back, and we especially have to remember that our battles with the flesh can only be won by God. I want to build an alter to our Lord and call it "The Lord is Peace". We were talking tonight at dinner and both feel that God is going to reveal something great to us on this journey. We hope and pray that He touches all of us in a way that we extend the hands and feet of Jesus as we have never before.

Lord, I lift up this team to You. I ask that You fill them with courage, peace and expectation of great things from You. Please protect them from the fiery darts of the enemy. Unite their hearts and minds. Let them empty themselves, so that Your love and mercy will flow through them to each and every person they come in contact with. I thank you for each person that is willing to give of their time and resources to share You with a hurting and lost world....bless them abundantly. I thank You for all the amazing things that You have in store for this trip! I ask all these things in the name of our precious Saviour, Your Son, Jesus.
